Performance Sound Engineering

MRT engineered the 2020+ Explorer ST 3.0L V6 EcoBoost performance cat back in T304 Stainless Steel 2.5” tube with 4” quad tips and aggressive dual rear exit exhaust system that is sure to Get Noticed.  The Elite Series builds on the refined, on demand performance sound of the MRT Sport Touring series and delivers the aggressive acceleration note of MRT’s Extreme sound series with a LOWER loudness rating.

Team MRT collaborated with Pro Sound Innovation acoustic sound engineers to create a muffler design that delivers a performance sound and maintains package size while managing unwanted resonance tones.  The unique solution created a refined, comfortable sound in normal driving with aggressive performance sound under wide open throttle.  The design was engineered to create essentially no back pressure so all the performance goes to the tires.  It’s the perfect balance of performance and refinement.
