MRT, the performance engineering shop based in Plymouth, Michigan, adds Jeep Wrangler 4XE King of the Hill axle back to their premium 2018+ MRT Jeep exhaust line.

Sound Engineering

MRT’s King of the Hill axle back provides on demand sound when the Wrangle 4XE 2.0 gas engine is on.  Designed to provide a pleasant purr in steady driving and change to an aggressive, performance sound with acceleration.  Turbocharger whoosh sounds are amplified so you experience the engine’s power in all city and off-road driving conditions.  

Performance Engineering

This exhaust is designed in T304 stainless steel for long-lasting corrosion resistance and 4” exhaust tube for increased exhaust flow.  Installation is simple. You simply remove factory exhaust at the muffler section clamp joint, slide the MRT tail pipes into place and secure with MRT-supplied band clamps.

Adding the MRT King of the Hill Axle back to the Jeep Wrangler 4XE elevates the 2.0-liter performance AND improves fuel efficiency by reducing exhaust back pressure.  This performance gain is great for the Wrangler owner to have traditional SUV off-road excellence without sacrificing electric-powered driving function or reduced-emissions capability.  This aftermarket exhaust is the best accessory to upgrade the Jeep while actually improving the sustainable footprint!
