MRT, the engineering performance shop based in Plymouth, Michigan, expands Ford Maverick pickup exhaust line-up by adding new side exit and full length exhaust systems that improve stock ground clearance: MRT King of the Hill and Trail Rated Premium exhaust systems for the 2023+ Ford Maverick Tremor.

MRT engineered the Maverick Tremor performance exhaust in 2 configurations to improve off-road ground clearance and capability. The MRT side exit exhaust is designed for adventure enthusiasts who want maximum ground clearance while the MRT rear exit full length exhaust is suitable for the occasional offroader who wants improved ride height. MRT applied their sound engineering experience to fine-tune and deliver exhaust notes suitable for the Maverick pickup – the King of the Hill sound designed for maximum sound and the Trail Rated version for a capable, family friendly sound.

Team MRT designed this performance exhaust with a side exit for improved rear ground clearance. While we love the sound and look, we also think it gives the Ford Maverick a cool performance look that is reminiscent of the side pipes found on the old big-block V8 engines of the 1960’s. The system exists just in front of the passenger rear wheel and the interior exhaust sound is actually just right!
