The 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was a special edition muscle car that was produced to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the original Mach 1. It was based on the Mustang GT and featured a number of performance and cosmetic upgrades such as the 4.6L V8 generating 305 horsepower, a functional shaker hood scoop that is actually part of the intake manifold, revised suspension for improved handling and retro style grille and spoiler for Get Noticed styling.
This particular 2003 Mach 1 is one of a kind. It’s the first Zinc Yellow Mustang to roll off the Dearborn assembly line and it’s only one of 870 made. This Mach 1 has been customized with a short throw shifter sporting a personalized shift knob, custom wheels, lowering kit for styling enhancements and a muscle car sounding catted H-pipe combined with a sport touring catback exhaust and a cold air kit for performance upgrades. Oh, we can’t forget to mention the MRT no drill hood struts that effortlessly hold the hood up and eliminate the prop rod so you take in the full power of the V8 engine.
These modifications complemented the original 2003 Mach 1’s classic Mustang styling and modern performance. The result is a car that’s fun to drive and sounds like a muscle car from the old school.
