American Muscle Cars Aftermarket Exhaust

American muscle cars have long been a symbol of freedom and power, and for many veterans, these cars represent more than just a way to get around. They are a reminder of their service to their country, and a source of pride and joy.  Muscle cars are also popular with young people who see them as a way to express their individuality.

American muscle cars are a type of car that was popular in the United States and are characterized by their stylish designs, large, powerful engines and throaty exhaust notes.   The 1960’s and 70’s large V8 engines are not available in today’s vehicles but the desire for that iconic, throaty exhaust note still exists.  An aftermarket exhaust is a great way to make your car sound louder, more aggressive and even more powerful.

Let’s look at some of different types of American muscle cars, and aftermarket exhaust options:

The Ford Mustang: The Ford Mustang is one of the most iconic muscle cars of all time. It was introduced in 1964 and has been in production ever since. The Mustang is available in a variety of models, including the GT, the Shelby GT500, and the Mach 1. Mustang aftermarket exhaust options range from traditional Fox Body Street Race H-pipe configurations to Sport Touring Cat back with drone management system for a sport performance drive in more modern times.

The Chevrolet Camaro: The Chevrolet Camaro is another iconic muscle car that was introduced in 1967. The Camaro is available in a variety of models, including the SS, the ZL1, and the Z/28 and the aftermarket exhaust variety is unbelievable.  If you’re looking for a way to give your Fifth gen Camaro V6 an exhaust rumble with a spirited ride, check out this MRT Version 1 Cat Back.

The Dodge Challenger: The Dodge Challenger is a muscle car that was introduced in 1970. The Challenger is available in a variety of models, including the R/T, the Scat Pack, and the Demon.  The first mod any Challenger (or Dodge Charger) needs is a Simple DIY resonator delete exhaust.

You can add an aftermarket exhaust to today’s sports car favorites like the C8 Corvette, Honda Civic Type R for improved sound, increased performance and get noticed styling.  It’s relatively easy and affordable modification that can make a big difference.

If you’re looking for a way to add some muscle to your ride, adding a cat back exhaust, axle back or resonator delete is a great option. With so many different options available, you’re sure to find the perfect one for your needs. And, if you’re a veteran, be sure to ask about discounts from many aftermarket companies such as MRT Engineered Performance
